Kelly has been training dogs for over 25 years and had her own dog training business for 10 years on Maryland’s Eastern Shore before coming to Pennsylvania.

Her previous occupations include:

• Water quality lab supervisor for the National Aquarium in Baltimore
• Trainer at a boarding kennel in Maryland developing and running their training program
• Director of Maryland’s Queen Anne’s County Animal Adoption and Control Services

Kelly has also been an agility instructor at Camp Gone to the Dogs in Vermont, a week long camp for people and their dogs.

Kelly’s current dogs are Golden Retrievers Dublin and Dapper along with Papillons Schooner and Chipper.  She has competed in obedience, field trials, agility, rally, tracking, hunt tests, freestyle and conformation and one of her proudest moments was winning the 20″ Preferred Class at the 2011 AKC National Agility Championships with her then 11-year-old Golden Retriever Devon.

Kelly says “While I love to compete with my dogs, I feel the most important aspect in training is to have a strong relationship and bond. My goals in training my dogs and helping you to train yours are to cultivate and nurture that bond.”

Karen has been working with dogs and pets of all sizes for over 20 years with over two decades of knowledge and experience as a vet tech and a professional dog trainer.

Karen has trained her dogs and successfully competed in a wide variety of dog sports through the years and owns Karen’s K9 Services, a professional dog walking and dog sitting business, and assisted many dog owners in enjoying their dogs by instructing her manners, parkour and agility classes.

We are pleased and grateful to have her as one of our instructors.

Lorraine is a breeder of A.K.C Dachshunds and is an A.K.C. conformation judge for Dachshunds, Great Danes, and Junior Showmanship. She also serves on a Board of Directors for The Dachshund Club of America.

Fieldwood is pleased to have Lorraine showing us the in and outs of having our dogs look their best in the conformation ring during our handling class.

Rosemary teaches our Scentwork classes and she indeed “noses” her business!
